For what ?
We are convinced that our era suffers from a form of individualism in which people are pitted against each other in every sphere. Even though we are physically surrounded, we are morally and spiritually isolated. Academia Christiana aims to connect its participants with people committed to the common good.
What objective?
What's the point of learning and reflecting on the problems of our society if we're just going to do nothing? Our network aims to encourage our participants to get involved in the community by introducing them to existing initiatives, but also by encouraging them to create what's lacking in their region.
What commitment?
We all have different talents, so there's no one-size-fits-all approach to getting involved. Depending on your age, experience, and interests, you can be helpful in many ways. For our events, we need cooks, stewards, electricians, plumbers, accountants, teachers, and more.
Furthermore, the common good is achieved through multiple modalities, so it is necessary to engage in all areas: culture, transmission, sport, business, media, humanitarian work, health, politics, etc.
How ?
Forum: At the end of each event we organize a forum of good initiatives bringing together artists, artisans, writers, associations, schools, businesses, media, etc.
Internal network: Our alumni have access to an internal network allowing them to exchange job offers and classified ads.
Team Projects: During our summer universities, participants are grouped into teams and must complete a project for the upcoming academic year.
